nature and snow
This is from a photo shoot i did about how the snow has effected nature. This was a plant in my back yard. I thought that the lighting and shadows were perfect at this time of day.
I really like the contrast of this photo. The colors make it look really soft and almost warm, even though it's winter. How you have the plants in the bottom left corner sort of framing the photo works really well. I like the simplicity of the photo. The shadow from the plant is really coolll!
When I saw this picture, I thought a snow-covered ground is a sky. Grayish blue shadow looks so clear and white snow is really really soft -- it looks like a cloud! This photo also has interesting composition. I like a casting shadow across a photo.
I really like how you balanced out the composition for this photo. The details in the snow and the shadow are very unique. It reminds me of spring because it looks like the snow is melting and the plant just starting growing.
